Nicholas Miller
Nicholas Brandon Miller was born and raised in sunny southern California. He attended Los Angeles Adventist Academy from kindergarten through high school. He completed an Associate’s Degree in Music at El Camino/Compton College in the spring of 2016. Presently, Nicholas is a Music Education Major at Cal. State Dominguez Hills University.
Nicholas is a Gospel Music recording artist. He sings, plays guitar, and he is an outstanding drummer. He is a BMI songwriter. He records and produces music for B+ Music in Carson, California.
Nicholas released his first recording (My Redeemer) in 2013. “My Redeemer” was one of the most played Gospel songs on the world-famous KTYM radio in Los Angeles, California. He has had other popular releases including “I Get Joy” and “Falling In Love With Jesus”. In the summer of 2015, Nicholas’ first DVD (“Hallelujah, Glory to The King”) aired on channel 54.2 (The L. A. Praise Network). On December 7, 2019, Nicholas Miller released his first 11-song CD. That project includes “Power”, “Take God With You”, “Were You There”, “Close To You”, “Tell Me Who”, “His Eye Is On The Sparrow” and “In This Place”.
Nicholas has some very serious performance credits. Nicholas and his brother (Benjamin Miller) sang background vocals for the artist known as Pharrell Williams. Nicholas and Benjamin made appearances with Pharrell on The Jimmie Kimble and The Queen Latifa TV Shows. Nicholas has been the opening act for Melvin Williams (of the Williams Brothers) and The Legendary Lee Williams and the QCs. Nicholas has been a featured performer at the Gospel Music Workshop of America General Board meetings in Los Angeles and Los Vegas Nevada. Nicholas has opened for Deitrick Haddon and Kierra Sheard. Nicholas has performed on Mr. Stevie Wonder’s Dr. Martin Luther King Celebration in the beautiful City of Inglewood. Nicholas has made two appearances on The Dorinda Clark show.
Nicholas is one of the praise team leaders at Tamarind Ave. SDA Church in Compton, California. Nicholas is the drummer for the Johnson Chapel in Santa Anna, California. Nicholas is also the drummer for the World-famous Brook Simpson. Occasionally Nicholas makes appearances with The Chris Miller Legends Band (featuring Clint Gamboa/vocals, Craig T. Cooper/guitar, Charles Love/keyboards, Tim Roberts/keyboards, Cee Cee Thomas/bass, and Chris Miller/flute-sax-percussion).
Nicholas has become a very capable music producer. Many legendary musicians (including Greg “G-Mo” More,
Cee Cee Thomas, Craig T. Cooper, Dell Atkins,
Kevin Nickleson, Kenneth Crouch, Larry Cox Junior, Eddie Miller, Myron McKinley, Daniel Johnson and
Lynn Fidmont) have made appearances on his recordings.
